From October 14-18, the Systems Limited – Middle East and Africa team boldly stepped into tech's new frontier at GITEX 2024, the world’s largest tech and AI event, hosted at the iconic Dubai World Trade Center. This extraordinary five-day showcase was a vibrant fusion of innovation and exploration, uniting the brightest minded visionaries from around the globe.
GITEX 2024 pulsed with energy, serving as a melting pot of groundbreaking ideas where industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers converged to redefine the future of technology. Our team forged new partnerships and collaborations, unveiling transformative business opportunities that promise to shape the landscape of tomorrow. We captivated attendees with groundbreaking innovations, solidifying our position as a catalyst for strategic partnerships and technological advancement.
The global tech ecosystem experienced an action-packed agenda, showcasing everything from conversational holograms and flying taxis to UX-driven fuel stations, hugging robots, and humanoid teachers. This GITEX highlighted a shared journey to shape tomorrow's connected, intelligent world.
Global tech innovators like Globcom, Nevis, and Leapwork joined us as co-exhibitors and showcased how we empower businesses to accelerate growth, sustain competitive advantages, and lead in a rapidly evolving landscape.
On Day 2, our Group CEO and MD, Asif Peer, delivered an inspiring keynote on the transformative impact of AI in finance, offering a compelling glimpse into the future of financial technology.
Systems Limited has entered key partnership agreements as a global technology partner, paving the way for a new era of digital transformation and innovation for clients such as the Community Development Authority, a leader in urban planning, and EtihadWE, a key utility provider in the northern emirates. We are set to implement AI-powered solutions that will significantly enhance efficiency and service delivery. Additionally, we announced an alliance with PTCL, focusing on technological advancements that will elevate the PTCL Group’s IT systems and services, leading to improved service delivery and an exceptional customer experience.
During the five days at GITEX Global 2024, we signed strategic collaboration partnerships with global technology innovators, marking monumental steps forward in our commitment to delivering forward-thinking solutions that accelerate client digital transformation. Our collaboration with WSO2 harnesses their cutting-edge open-source platform to empower customers across the UAE to achieve their digital ambitions. The MoU with Leapwork enhances our prowess in test automation and quality assurance, driving excellence in service delivery. Partnering with SpeechLogix Group leverages their advanced voice technology to revolutionize telecommunications and elevate customer experiences to new heights. Together with Salesforce, we are redefining personalized customer journeys, while our alliance with Alkira, Inc. paves the way for streamlined networking and operational excellence. Our collaboration with EVAM is poised to deliver innovative solutions that enhance enterprise agility and efficiency. Furthermore, our partnership with Software AG Middle East is set to create intelligent, resilient enterprises, while an alliance with Securiti will empower organizations to safely harness data and generative AI. Collectively, these alliances ignite a future rich in innovation and impactful value creation within Systems Limited’s ecosystem.
GITEX Global provided a dynamic platform for innovation at our booth, where we had the honor of welcoming several distinguished guests. Faisal Tirmizi, the UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, visited us, highlighting the deepening ties between our countries in technology and innovation. Joining him were prominent figures from Pakistan’s IT fraternity, including Brig. Nadir from SIFC and Zeeshan R. Khattak, CEO of PSEB, showcasing the collaborative spirit within our tech ecosystem.
At our booth, we proudly welcomed ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, led by CTO Siraj Patel, who shared valuable insights on advancing banking technologies. We engaged in productive discussions with representatives from the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi, including Mr. George Yacoub, Executive Director and Head of IT, along with IT Consultant Ms. Mariam Sari AlMehairbi, focusing on the future of life sciences and AI initiatives. Additionally, Mr. Mamoun Alhomssey, CIO of Ajman Bank, visited our booth, reinforcing our commitment to fostering innovation in the UAE's financial sector. Each interaction highlighted our dedication to building meaningful partnerships and shaping the future of technology.
Moreover, we co-hosted a series of engaging roundtable in collaboration with our long standing partners; Cloudera, Microsoft, and IBM that highlighted innovative topics, trends, challenges, and use cases to help organizations thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape.
With IBM, we examined how our advanced analytics enable enterprises to optimize their data and AI strategies effectively. During our session with Cloudera, Atta Ullah Shah, Head of Data Analytics at Systems Limited Middle East and Africa, and Tariq Salameh, Solutions Engineering Manager at Cloudera, showcased compelling real-world examples of AI transforming data management. Our session with Microsoft was led by Saad Usmani, VP of Business Applications at Systems Limited Middle East and Africa, who demonstrated groundbreaking AI-powered solutions tailored to meet the dynamic needs of modern contact centers.
Reflecting on the impact of AI and GITEX 2024's theme, "Global Collaboration to Forge a Future AI Economy," our Group CEO and MD Asif Peer remarked, “AI is more than just technology; it’s a transformative way of working that drives both productivity and growth.
